Adelaide Convention Centre

The venue for the ASM is the Adelaide Convention Centre, conveniently located in the heart of the city centre and nestled within the beauty of the Riverbank Precinct, surrounded by parklands and the River Torrens.

Close proximity to the medical hub, entertainment, cultural and sport precinct, the Centre is a short walk to international and boutique hotels and accommodation. Public transport, the Adelaide Railway Station and a taxi ramp are on our doorstep.

The Adelaide Convention Centre opened its doors in 1987 and has been constantly evolving and improving with three major extensions in less than 30 years. They enjoy a global reputation for excellence earning a string of awards and recently completed the new West Building and renovation of the East Building.

Adelaide has had many nicknames over the years, from “the Athens of the south” (a nod to the Mediterranean climate and lifestyle) to “the 20-minute city” (because getting around just isn’t a problem). Adelaide is also known as Australia’s home to great food, the arts and new ideas.

It’s an easy city to enjoy, whether you prefer 5-star dining, quirky laneway bars, exploring the bustling Central Market, cycling in the parklands, strolling in the picturesque Adelaide Hills or relaxing on a stretch of white sandy beach just 20 minutes (that figure again) from the CBD.
